Pepsi Freund was born and raised in the heart of Manhattan and spent her childhood at the various art venues available to very few on a regular basis i.e., the finest art collections in the world: The Metropolitan, MOMA, Guggenheim, etc. As a child in kindergarten her drawing was picked to represent New York among the other states in a show in Washington, D.C. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember, finding new avenues for her expression, i.e., collage, mixed media, oil, acrylic, watercolor. Color is the vibrancy and ticket that she uses to express her work. It is an exciting adventure.
