Charles Davenport is a local artist focusing on impressionistic paintings of sailboats, sunflowers,  and beach scenes. He trained at the New York Art Student’s League and was mentored by noted figurative painter Marilyn Bendell. He’s been painting since the mid-1980s, and has previously shown in galleries in the Berkshires, Sarasota, and Longboat Key. “Painting has always brought me great joy, both as a means of exploring color and composition, and enabling collectors to discover a work that aligns perfectly with their lifestyle and interests.”
